What do you want to do?
Welcome to Leergeld Utrecht
More and more children in the Netherlands are unable to participate in activities that are normal for their peers for financial reasons. Currently, in the municipality of Utrecht, 1 in 8 children grow up in poverty. They often stand on the sidelines. Leergeld wants these children to participate!
Leergeld Utrecht therefore supports families so that children aged 0 to 17 can participate in activities inside and outside school. For instance, sports and culture. With our help, children can get their swimming diplomas or take music lessons. We also support the purchase of a laptop, sportswear and/or a bicycle. These everyday necessities help children develop, participate fully and feel that they matter.
